I thought that I would talk about art, mixed medias actually.
I did a violet picture today. Now, what do you think is the best thing to use for a mixed media violet picture? The actual violet! In my family's backyard the violets are crazy growing! So, after I did a nature study on violets, I picked a few leaves and flowers and pressed them with a background of pencil crayon violets!
I added a little glue on the back of the plants after they were pressed because I didn't want the violets sliding out of my nature notebook! I scanned the picture so you could see!
